Terms and Conditions of Manor Road Storage


The storage amount quoted per week will be invoiced every 4 weeks in advance until such a time that all storage is removed. We reserve the right to review this price on an annual  basis and will give you 28 days notice of any such change, unless agreed otherwise in writing.

All invoices are payable within 28 days of the first day of the storage period stated.

A period of 24 hours minimum notice is required to access your storage container. We  cannot guarantee access if such notice is not given.

You must not store the following items under any conditions. Food or perishable goods, birds, fish, animals or any other creature, combustibles, flammables, explosives or oxidising materials, liquid or gases such as paint, petrol, oil, cleaning solvents, gas cylinders, or fireworks, firearms, weapons, ammunition’s, chemicals, pollutants or any illegal substance. If you breach any of these conditions, we reserve the right to remove all these goods from our property, at your cost and notify the relevant authority if deemed necessary.

You must inform us in writing or by e-mail of any changes to your billing details or other contact details as soon as possible.

We have a lien over the goods stored for your debt until payment of your debt in full has been received.

In the event of your storage fees being overdue by 12 weeks or more, and no contact has been made by you, then we shall commence action to recover any outstanding monies due.

We may sell any goods and use the proceeds of sale to pay, first the costs incurred by us and secondly in paying your debt. Any funds in excess of the debt will be held on your behalf until contact is made.  If the funds are insufficient to discharge the total debt, then we shall take legal action to recover the outstanding balance.  You will be liable for any fees incurred.

All goods must be stored in a secure and proper manner as the containers can be moved within the warehouse for access purposes.

If any loss or damage occurs to the goods as a result of any matter which may result in a claim under our insurance cover, after receipt from you of a written direction to notify a claim, we will promptly notify our insurer of such claim.  For the purposes of processing any such claim, you shall provide us, our insurer or any agent of our insurer appointed to investigate such claim with such information and evidence as may reasonably be required

These conditions and any act or contract to which they apply shall be governed by English Law and any dispute arising out of any act or contract to which these conditions apply shall be subject to the exclusive Jurisdiction of the English courts.
